| Anshul bags first prize in Spot Essay Writing competition | | Display Your Talent | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 26: Anshul Gupta from Government MAM College (Morning), clinched the First Prize in On the Spot Essay Writing Competition, conducted under the “Display Your Talent” 2010-11 whereas Swati Vijay from the Govt Women College, Parade and Sumaya Kousar Mir from Govt Degree College, Kishtwar, bagged the Second and Third prize, respectively.
The Certificates of Merit, were awarded to Jyoti Bhagat from JK College of Education and Pankhuri Aggarwal from Govt Women College, Parade.
Mean while an on the Spot Short Story Writing Competition, was conducted today by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu under the on going “Display Your Talent” 2010-11.
The participants were required to write a Romantic Story or A Satire or A Story based on the Theme, “Fighting with Natural Calamity”, comprising 1500 words in Dogri, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or English Language.
The result of the Short Story Writing competition, shall be declared after the evaluation of the scripts.
