| Tributes paid to Indira Gandhi on 22nd death anniversary | | |
New Delhi, Oct 31 Nation paid tributes to former prime minister Indira Gandhi on her 22nd death anniversary today.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, Minister for Urban Development Ajay Maken, Delhi Lt Governor B L Joshi and Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit paid floral tibutes at 'Shakti Sthala' here this morning.
Prayers were also held at her official residence, 1 Safdarjang Road in Central Delhi that were attended by large number of people and dignatries.
Various programmes were also being held across the country in her remembrance. |
