| Revision of Panchayat electoral rolls | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 27: District administration Jammu has called upon to the qualified persons for applying for their inclusion in the Panchayat electoral roll, besides affecting any correction or deletion from the list if any person wants so.
Chief Electoral Officer has ordered summary revision of Panchayat electoral rolls with reference to 01-01-2010 as qualifying date. Draft publication for the same has been made on 18-10-2010. Draft Electoral Rolls are available in the office of the District Panchayat Officer Jammu, Assistant Commissioner, Development Jammu, concerned BDOs, Panchayat ghars and polling stations. The persons who have qualified the age of 18 years as on 01.01.2010 and are permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir can apply to the concerned BDOs on prescribed forms for inclusion, deletion and correction of names in the Panchayat Electoral Roll up to 1.11.2010.
