CAPD team launches checking drive

JAMMU, Oct 27: On the instructions of district development commissioner Pandurang K Pole and to keep strict vigil on rates and quality on eatables, a team of CAPD officers headed by Assistant Director, Reasi T.P.Singh launched massive checking drive in Reasi area and imposed fine Rs. 11,500 to the violators under Essential Commodity Act and LPG Control order 2000.
Besides this, 11 domestic LPG cylinders were also seized and they were issued show cause notice for the violations. 8 Kerosene oil dealer were also issued show cause notice for difference violations. Two kerosene Oil dealers namely Mohinder Kumar of Arnas and Rakesh Kumar of Kanthan imposed fine Rs. 2000 to each for not display proper rate list/ sign board.
