| IMFA building to be declared as historical: Diwedi | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 27: Deputy Commissioner Jammu M K Diwedi today visited Institute of Music and Fine Art and inspected the building of the institute.
During his visit to the institute DC meet with the principal of the institute and asked her to maintain cleanliness in the premises of the institute.
DC while interacting with the principal and some prominent citizens of the area assured that he will take up the matter with the higher ups to declared 100 year old building as historical and also assured to provide all possible help for renovation of the said building.
It is pertinent to mention here that DC was invited by Rajiv Mahajan, President Shri Ram Sena who had taken upon himself to preserve this historical building. Mahajan thanked the DC for his visit and assurances to renovate the building as well as to do all needful to declare it as historical one.
