HC directs education deptt for adjustment | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 27: Jammu and Kashmir High Court today directed Director School Education (DSE) Jammu to consider representation of petitioner to adjust him as master and pass appropriate orders with in a period of eight weeks. The petitioner Surjit Kumar of Dalogra Rajouri filed a service writ petition through Ashok Sharma advocate stating therein that he belongs to schedule caste category and was promoted as master by the Director School Education Jammu vide his orders dated 20-5-2008 and 22-5-2009 but not allowed to join, as he passed his B.Ed from Hindi Sahitya Samelan Allahabad University. CEO Rajouri appointed committee for verification, which reported in favour of the petitioner accordingly CEO Rajouri recommended to the Director School Education for his adjustment in government Higher Secondary School Chingus vide letter dated 8-9-2009. Another recommendation was made by the CEO on 20-7-2010 but, the petitioner was not adjusted in spite of the fact that number of teachers selected, masters promoted and lecturers selected and promoted acquired qualification from same university stand adjusted ignoring petitioner. Justice J.P. Singh on hearing the counsel for the petitioner issued eight weeks notice to the Commissioner Secretary Education, Director School Education Jammu and CEO Rajouri and directed Director School Education to decide the representation of the petitioner in pursuant to his appointment vide his orders of dated 20-5-2008 and 22-5-2009 and recommendations of CEO to adjust petitioner as master with in a period of eight weeks.
