| Winning start by JU in NZ football | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 28: University of Jammu made a winning start in the North Zone Inter-University men’s Football Tournament being organised by Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.
According to a handout issued by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, the JU team defeated Shimla University Himachal Pradesh by two goals to one in the first match. Both the goals were scored by Amanjot Singh.
