Good governance must for restoring peace: FPSJ | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 28: Good governance and social justice are the two ways by which permanent peace can be restored across Jammu and Kashmir. This was stated by President of foundation for Peace and Social Justice Ashok Sharma in a meeting with Chief Interlocutor D. Padgaonkar. Delegation comprised of wing commander G.L.Sharma (Retd.), Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Jafri, Dr. Satish Sharma, Giat Nandan Jain and D.S.Jamwal, Sushil Sharma, Miashhor Hussain, Shashi Kumar Kesri, Girdhari Lal Sharma, Dr. Anuradha Goswami and Jyoti Sharma. Delegation apprised Chief interlocutor of areas of concern with regard to mis-governance, corruption, non-functioning of accountability and RTI commission, backdoor appointments, selections on the basis of favoritism, nepotism and non- settlement of problems of refugees 1947, 1965, 1971, West Pakistan and militancy hit refugees along with non-implication of Sikri, Gajender Gadkar and creation of 1.5 lakh job opportunities for Jammu and Kashmir regions. Delegation sought appointment of Judicial commission headed by sitting Judge of Supreme Court (SC) to identify areas of injustice towards various areas and communities. Delegation also sought mechanism as to how unguided youth of the state can be brought in national mainstream to restore normalcy in the state.
