| JU insiders make list of 'interviewers' public | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 28: The infighting between the Professors of Jammu University (JU) has already maligned the image of the institution on several occasion in the past. But now their personal rivalry has crossed the limits as they have now started making the official secrets public.
On October 29 and 30, the interview of Assistant Professor in Chemistry and Commerce are scheduled. But the panel of interviewers, which should be secret to the interviewees, is reliably open to all. If the rumor mongers are to be believed Prof AK Bakshi from Delhi University, Prof Khalid ul Jaman Khan from Kashmir University and
Prof Neeraj Sharma from Himachal Pradesh University are among the panel of interviewers for the post of Assistant Professor in Chemistry.
Whereas, Prof Abdul Aziz Ansari from Jamia Milia Islamia, Prof H K Singh from Banaras Hindu University and Prof R K Dixit are in the list of interviewrs for the post of Assistant Professor in Commerce. If the list made public is true to any extent then the entire confidential matters of the Universoty are under scanner. Even, the credibility of Vice Chancellor and other people sitting at the helm of affairs has been affected. Whether the rumours are true or not it could be ascertained only on the days of interview.
While the intention of people who made this list public is certainly not good, what is apparent is the fact that they just want to settle score with each other with malafide intention. The moot question remains who is to be actually blamed this blunder.
However, none from the side of University commented on the matter and advised to wait for the interview day to ascertain the truth in the rumours. |
