| J&K faces Maharashtra in Ranji opener on Nov 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 29: Jammu and Kashmir shall be playing against Maharashtra in the opening match of the Ranji Trophy plate group-B league phase to be played at GGM Science College Hostel ground here on November one.
Though the visitors Maharashtra expected to land Jammu tomorrow, the hosts J&K are yet to name the final team for the prestigious event. However, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has short listed 24 probable, who are presently undergoing final phase of their coaching sessions.
However, a couple of upcoming cricketers, who are presently playing in under-22 group and have already proceeded for South to take on Kerela, may not be able to play the first class cricket this time.
