| No relief team to work without our consent: Rigzin | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT

Leh,Oct 29: The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh formally elected the new chief executive councilor at its first sitting.
Rigzin Spulber who has won the recent LAHDC election from two constituencies has been unanimously elected as the new Chief Executive Councilor.
Under section 93 of LAHDC Leh the District commissioner Leh has started the procedure for choosing CEC.
Under section 94 of the LAHDC any member could propose a name for CEC, accordingly Sonam Dorjay who was an uncontested elected member of LAHDC proposed the name of. Rigzin Spulber for the post of new Chief Executive Councilor which was endorsed by another councilor.
After taking charge of chief executive councilor Rigzin Spulber paid thanks to all the councilors for electing him as new chief executive councilor.
While responding to media Rigzin Spulber made it very clear that his administration will not spare any kind of nepotism and corruption.
In this connection he said that he will not allow any relief team to work here without their control. He is for transparent and result oriented administration.
“The previous council has not even touched the ‘vision 20-20’ project which was formulated by us before their tenure” said the new CEC. “Now we will start that project afresh and will bring back the progress train on track. We all have to work day and night and make Ladakh a model place” he said.
