| PDP’s Trade Union cell dismay over govt’s roadmap for employees | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, OCT 29: A meeting of Trade Union Cell of PDP was held under the chairmanship of Suresh Sharma, Provincial President, J&K Employees and Workers Trade Union Wing to discuss the road map announced by the Government for payment of 6th Pay Commission arrears to the employees and pensioners of State Government.
Expressing concern over this road map prepared by the State
Cabinet, it was felt that it is very cumbersome and disadvantageous to
all sections of employees as well as pensioners. The speaker also said
that payment of 50% arrears instead of 100% that too in three to six
installments was a cruel joke with the employees and pensioners of the
State Government. It has also violated all provinces and
agreements/assurances made by Government with different employees
organisations from time to time.
The members also urged the Government to ensure release of
COLA/DA in favor of Public Sector Employees. In the meeting, among
others, Rajesh, Aditya Khajuria, Mohinder Sharma, Anchal Bakshi, Hans
Raj, Dudhwal, Jagdev Pathania, S.K Raina and Surinder Sharma were also
present.
