| Power shut down on Oct 31, Nov 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 29: In order to carry out urgent routine maintenance work of equipments installed in Grid Station, the power supply to ICC Samba, Samba town and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on October 31, 2010 from 9 am to 12 pm.
Meanwhile to carry out the branch cutting of trees falling under the alignment of 33 KV G-2 and G-3 line emanating from 220/132/33 KV Gladni Grid Station, the power supply to Nanak Nagar, part of Shastri Nagar, Sanjay Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and PHE installations shall remain affected on October 31 from 7 a m to 11 a m.
Similar, the shutdown will also be affected to Railway Colony, Jammu University, Green Belt Park area, part of Trikuta Nagar, Gole Market, Last Morh area and PHE installation on November 1, 2010 from 7 a m to 11 a m.
According to the Superintending Engineer, Electric Maintenance & Re Circle-I Jammu, the shutdown is subject to fair weather conditions.
