| NH 1-A to go one-way for darbar move on Oct 30,31 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 29: In order to provide smooth passage to ‘Darbar Move’ vehicles, there will be one-way traffic on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on October 30 and 31.
According to police sources, to facilitate hassle free passage Darbar Move convoy for the bi-annual practice of shifting the seat of power from Valley to Jammu, the authorities have ordered one-way traffic.
"There will be one-way traffic from Srinagar to Jammu on October 30 and 31st for the smooth passage of the Darbar move convoys from the summer capital," said sources.
Darbar move shifts from the summer capital of Srinagar to Jammu at the end of October and reopens in Jammu in the second week of November, while offices close in April-end in Jammu and reopen in Srinagar in May.
