| Vikramjeet elected president of Council employees’ body | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: Vikranjeet Singh has been unanimously elected provincial president of the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council Employees Association here today.
The election meeting, wherein 70 delegates participated in the general body meeting, was chaired by state president of National Trade Union Front, Mohd Gafoor Dar.
The general body also authorized the president to nominate other members of the body.
Besides election of the Association, the members adopted a resolution and urged the state government and higher authorities of the Council to settle the genuine issues of the employees.
List of demands of the Council employees included regularization of casual labourers and contractual coaches as also framing of proper transfer and promotion policy.
