| Champion sport climbing team leaves for NZ meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: Defending champion, Jammu and Kashmir today left for the 16th North Zone Sport Climbing Championship to be held at Sainik School Kunjpura from October 30 to November two.
The 19-member team of Mountaineering Association of J&K was flagged off by Assistant Director Doordarshan Kentra Jammu, Sanjit Khajuria in a function held at Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, here.
The team left Jammu this evening under the guidance of Sport Climbing Judge, Shawetica Khajuria as manager. The zonal competition is being organized by North Zone Sport Climbing Committee under the aegis of Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi
The state team has been sponsored by J&K State Sports Council. The Team: Men: Suraj Singh, Anil Kumar, Punit Kumar and Vipul Katoch. Women: Rinchen Angmo, Shiny Khajuria. Boys: Deepak Saini and Vikrant Gupta. Girls: Roopali Sharma, Romika Thakur, Upasana Abrol and Shazia Kousar. Sub Junior Boys: Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Slathia. Sub Junior Girls: Bindia Sharma, Shivani l, Mamta Devi & Sonali Sharma
