| KV Bantalab celebrates Sports Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: Kendriya Vidyalaya Bantalab today celebrated its Annual Sports
Day in the school premises with great enthusiasm and spirit. Young boys and girls, who excelled in different sports activities, were given away prizes.
The day marked with holding of various sports activities including field and track events of athletics as also other fun making games for young students.
The meet was declared open by Assistant Commandant of CRPF Group Centre, Vikram Singh Shekhawat, who was chief guest on the occasion. He was welcomed by the Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sushma Thapar. Sunita Shekhawat was guest of honour.
Speaking to the gathering, the chief guest blessed the students and congratulated them for taking part in various sports activities.
Earlier, the programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by the chief
guest and other dignitaries, followed by March Past by different Houses as well
as Scouts and Guides of the Vidyalaya. A beautiful cultural programme including
different dances and songs was also presented on the occasion.
After the meet was declared open by the chief guest, different sporting activities
like 100 mtrs race, relay race, frog jump, sack race, front roll race and three leg
race were presented.
Later, vote of thanks was presented by Physical Education Teacher, Sriniwas Sharma.
