| Tarigmi calls for return of youth from the other side of LoC, internal ceasefireTarigmi calls for return of youth from the other side of LoC, internal ceasefireTarigmi calls for return of youth from the other side of LoC, internal ceasefire | | | Srinagar, October 31: The return of youth having crossed over to the other side of the Line of Control (LoC) and internal ceasefire will, in the opinion of CPI (M) State Secretary M.Y.Tarigami, bring down the scale of violence besides strengthening the ongoing peace process in Jammu & Kashmir state. Addressing a press conference at Jammu & Kashmir House New Delhi, Tarigami called upon Indo-Pak leadership to take some bold initiatives for long lasting peace in the state , as confidence building measures (CBMs), according to him, won't work alone now. Interestingly Tarigami's statement has come after his meeting with a Pakistani delegation headed by Member National Assembly Pakistan Hafiz Hussain Ahmed in New Delhi. It would not be out of place to mention here that Hafiz Hussain Ahmed represents hardcore political amalgam of Mustahida Majlis-e-Amal in Pakistan National Assembly. Stressing for implementing ceasefire beyond the line of control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir state, Tarigami said internal ceasefire will bring about further improvement in situation. While underscoring the need for more flexibility in the process of release of travel documents. Pleading the return of youth having crossed to the other side of line of control, he said such people have to be brought to national mainstream on their return to this side of the line of control (LoC). |
