| SDM conducts surprise inspections of govt offices | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Dudu (Udhampur) Oct 30: SDM Dudu Basantgarh Amit Sharma today conducted surprise inspections in several Government offices and public institutions located in and around Dudu area of the Sub Division.
During the inspection, the SDM took necessary action against absentee Government officials there.
The main offices where SDM paid visit included Police Post Shivgali where 9 Constables/SPOs out of total strength of 12 were missing and accordingly an explanation from SHO Basantgarh was sought regarding it.
Afterwards, surprise inspections were conducted at Angadwadi Centre Phlungu where explanation was sought from Angadwadi Worker Champa Devi for non presence and absence of children at the centre.
On the same lines, inspections were conducted at Govt. Primary School Phlungu, Angadwadi Centre Dhar Seoj, Govt Girls Primary School Dudu, Govt High School Kirchi, Block Veterinary Office, Kirchi and Sheep Extension Centre Kirchi.
Again, Angadwadi Centre Kirchi was found locked due to which explanation was sought from Angadwadi Worker Pushpa Devi and Angadwari Helper Sunita Devi.
Zonal Education Office Dudu was also inspected in which only one official was found present.
SDM sought an explanation from ZEO Dudu Suram Chand in this behalf. Other Government offices/institutions which were inspected included Govt. Allopathic Dispensary Dudu, Govt Middle School Thirdu, Govt. Primary School Khattian, Angadwadi Centre Thirdu, Sub Centre Health Thirdu and Police Post Thirdu. Explanation was also sought from ANM Neelam Kumari, Angadwadi Worker and Angadwadi Helper Thirdu for non presence in the Institutions.
During the visits, he warned all the erring employees to mend their ways and perform their duties with regularity, total devotion and zeal in these far flung areas of the Sub Division otherwise they will invite more stringent punishments in future.
