BCE organizes debate competition on mobile usage | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Oct 30: A debate competition on the topic “The impact of uses of Mobile Phones on Students” was held here today at Bharat College of Education (BCE). In the debate competition several students of the college highlighted the impact of the uses of mobile phones in both ways good or bad. The student of B Ed Kajal expressed her serious concerns over the harmful effects of mobile usage. Ruby, another student, however, highly appreciated this dynamic and wonderful invention of the 21st century. On the occasion the chief guest retired Professor Ram Murti Sharma praised the thoughts of students which were very informative and relevant. He said that the use of mobile phone is the reality of the modern society and is need of the hour but it is well said that “excess of every thing is bad”. Prof Murti stressed upon the use of mobile phone in a proper and disciplined way. Kajal secured first position in the competition while Ruby clinched the second spot. the winners were felicitated c with certificates and mementoes. In the programme, the chairman of the college Harpreet Singh, Principal Manjit Kour along with other staff members and students were also present.
