| Symposium on drug addiction held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Oct 30: A symposium was organized by Unique Academy, Barnoti on the topic “Drug Addiction” in its premises today.
Twelve students of the school participated and read out their writings on the topic with deep understanding.
Vivek Singh secured first position in the symposium while 2nd and third positions were secured by Rakesh Singh and Vanshika respectively.
Prizes and certificates were given to the participants by the Information Department. Zonal Education Officer, Barnoti who was chief guest while speaking on the occasion said that the Information Department is providing platform for the budding talent to express their views through their writings.
Zonal Education Planning Officer Kathua, Ram Dass Sharma while speaking on the occasion appreciated the writings of the students on the topic. Principal of the school, Ravinder Singh Jasrotia presented vote of thanks.
