| Scouts and guides camp culminates | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, OCT 30: A three-day long scouts and guides camp culminated at Air Force School, Jammu today.
Air Commodore, Nitin Sathe, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station and Chairman School Management Committee who was the chief guest was received by the Flight Lieutenant, J S Rana, officer- in- charge, Air Force, Jammu.
The programme started with the welcome speech by Vikesh Sandhal, Principal, AFS, Jammu followed by the flag hoisting by the chief Guest.
The State Commissioner of J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides Association, I. D. Soni addressed the audience and stressed on the need and importance of being a member of Bharat Scouts & Guides Association. A cultural show was also arranged which included group song by all the campers and dance by cadets which was lauded by the audience. The cultural bonanza was followed by the distribution of certificates and prizes by the chief guest.
In his presidential address, Air Commodore, Nitin Sathe expressed his desire that more and more students join this organization and wished to have more such camps.
