| JKATA calls on Rahul Gandhi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, OCT 30: A deputation of J&K Agriculture Technocrats Association called on Rahul Gandhi, general secretary of AICC, at his residence at New Delhi.
The deputation was headed by Surinder Radotra and Rajeev Sharma. The deputation highlighted the plight of agricultural technocrats working as Rehabr-e-Zarat in the agriculture department for the last four years.
They said that despite possessing high professional degrees in agriculture sciences were deprived of permanent jobs since 1996. They stated that even chief minister assured them of early regularization but till date nothing concrete has been done
The deputation urged Rahul Gandhi for his intervention for the early settlement of their long pending demand. Later, Gandhi assured them that he will take the matter with state government for their regularization .
