| Women asked to gear up for polls | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, OCT 30: Provincial President, National Conference, Lakshmi Dutta today asked the women activists to gear up for the coming elections, so that the dream of Madre-i-Meharban is fulfilled, for women empowerment in the state.
She said this while celebrating Diwali function with the rural and urban workers at Paloura .
Speaking on the occasion, Dutta greeted coalition government chairperson Sonia Gandhi along with the state chief minister Omar Abdullah. She also highlighted the programmes and policies for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, particularly the employment packages for the youth of the state.
