RSS loving ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ ideology | Hold rally in Rajouri, appeal Hindus to be united | | EARLY TIMES REPORT RAJOURI, OCT 31: Still loving the ideology of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh activists today hold a rally in Rajouri to give a message of mutual cooperation and brotherhood among Hindus. Hundreds of RSS activists also participated by children hold march from Shaka ground Rajouri to Jawahar Nagar area. The march was led by Hardev Sharma-RSS leader of Rajouri. Speaking on the occasion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader said that RSS mission is revitalization of Indian value system based on universalism and peace and prosperity to all. He has said that they are still loving the ideology of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the worldview that the whole world is one family. He however added that they also believe in Hindu renaissance, which would build an egalitarian society and a strong India. Hardev said that RSS want to unite all Hindus and build a strong India, which could contribute to the welfare of the world. He said that RSS had big role in the freedom struggle of India besides social reforms. He said that They advocated the training of Dalits and other backward classes as temple high priests. The RSS has also condemned 'upper' caste Hindus for preventing Dalits from worshipping at temples, saying that "even God will desert the temple in which Dalits cannot enter" He added that RSS has participated in many relief activities during natural calamities. For instance, he said that in the 2001 they played lead role in Gujarat earthquake rescue operation. “We were instrumental in relief efforts after the 1971 Orissa Cyclone and the 1977 Andhra Pradesh Cyclone.”, he said. The activists said that RSS-affiliated NGO, Seva Bharati, has adopted 57 children (38 Muslims and 19 Hindus) from militancy affected areas of Jammu and Kashmir to provide them education at least up to Higher Secondary level. They have also taken care of many victims of the Kargil War of 1999. He added that even former President Dr Zakir Hussain once told to Milad Mehfil in Monghyar that the allegations against RSS of violence and hatred against Muslims are wholly false. He had said that Muslims should learn the lesson of mutual love, cooperation and organization from RSS.
