| Talab Tillo residents protest dilapidated roads | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 31: Resident of Talab Tillo area on Sunday staged a strong protest against the Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) to express their resentment against the dilapidated condition of roads and streets. The roads and streets had been dug by the ERA for laying sewerage pipes.
The protestors also burnt the effigy of the Agency and raised anti-ERA slogans.
“Several months have been passed since the roads and streets were dug up the ERA for laying sewerage pipes. We have been facing numerous problems as the interior roads are not repaired,” angry protestors said.
They warned that if the immediate measures were not taken to repair the damaged roads and streets, they would intensify their agitation.
