| Abid to led J&K against Maharashtra in Ranji trophy today | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 31: Abid Nabi led Jammu and Kashmir cricket team will lock-horns against Maharashtra in Plate-B of Ranji trophy at GGM Science College, here tomorrow. It is J&K’s first match of the season in longer version of the game. The 15 member team includes Abid Nabi (captain), Ian Dev Singh (vice-captain), Javed Ahmed, Dhruv Mahajan, Majid Dar, Hardeep Singh, Sami-ul-ah Beigh, Raman Dutta, Sameer Khajuria, Arshid Bhat, Sameer Ali, Asif Jeelani, Rohit Bhat, Obaid Ahmed and Rahil Singh.
Manzoor Ahmed Wazir will accompany the team as manager while Abdul Qyoom as coach. Rajinder Arora and Dr Inam-ur-Rehman will be joint manager and physio respectively.
Meanwhile, the match will be officiated by Ravi Subramanyam and R Sundar as umpires while Ashwani Kumar will maintain the scorebook. Former International umpire Jasbir Singh will be the umpire coach while Sunil will be the match referee. Sudhir Singh will act as the third umpire.
