Absconding CAPD dealer held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 31: A CAPD dealer, who was allegedly involved in the black marketing of government ration, was arrested today. SP (headquarters) J S Johar said CAPD dealer Janak Raj had gone underground after the seizure of government ration from Bishnah yesterday. Janak was today arrested during a police raid on his residence, he added. The alleged case of selling CAPD ration in black market at Bishnah came to fore yesterday when 50 rice bags, 25 floor bags and 18 sugar bags of CAPD were seized by police when these were being unloaded at the general store of Rashpal Chand, son of Bihari Lal of Smailpur. Rashpal and Bishnah TSO (tehsil supply officer) Ghar Chand were also arrested in the case. The ration was meant for APL and BPL people. During interrogation, Rashpal told police that he had bought the ration from Janak.
