JAMMU, Oct 31: A colorful programme on the 144th birth anniversary of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan was organized by Jammu central Mahajan Sabha, here today.
The welcome address was presented by Romesh Chander Gupta, president of the sabha. Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, MLA, was the chief guest.
The officers/ officials who were honored on the occasion included T.R Gupta Ex-president, All India. Mahajan Shiromani sabha, Subhash Chander Gupta MLC, Naresh Gupta MLC, K.B Jandial lAS, Pardeep Gupta lAS, Ashok Gupta IPS, IGP Jammu, Satish Gupta Drug controller, Chandra Gupta KAS, Arun Gupta CA, Sardari Lal Mahajan Ex-MLC Advocate, Sat Pal Gupta social worker, 'Janak Raj gupta, Ravi Rohmetra renowned Social worker and Media IIC Sabha and Romesh Gupta President.
Among others, following students and persons who excelled in their field were also honoured. Sushalll Gupta, Akshay Gupta, All1an Gupta, Archana Gupta, Piyush Gupta, Sonia Gupta, Lovely Gupta, Mr Shivam Gupta, Apoorba, Shriya, Anshul Mahajan, Aditya Mahajan, Udhay Gupta, Ujjwal Gupta, Ramit Gupta, Nirmal Gupta, Lucky Gupta, ProfYipil Sarafand Sh. CP Gupta.
In his address, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta laid stress on the unity of the community and also to organise marriage functions in a very simple way.
