| DoP organizing quiz contest on Nov 28 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 1: IN connection with World Philatelic Exhibition 2011, the Department of Post (DoP) is organising quiz competition on November 28. School teams comprising two members are eligible for participation. Each school can send only one team. The quiz will comprise questions on philately and general subject in a ratio of 40% and 60%. The Circle or State level quiz competition will be held on November 28 at Guru Gobind Singh Public Higher Secondary School, Kunjwani Talab. The prize money will for the Circle level is Rs 5000 and Rs 2500 for participants of the winning and runners up teams respectively.
The nomination should be addressed to the Assistant Director Postal Services (Tech) c/0 Chief Postmaster general, J&K Circle, Meghdoot Bhawan, Dogra Chowk Jammu on or before November 15.
All the schools are requested to nominate one team for the competition. The candidates will however appear in the above said competition at their own cost.
