| DISE Day observed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 1: District Information System for Education (DISE) Day was observed in zone Vijaypur under the guidance of Chief Education Officer, Samba, Ravi Dubey.
A programme was held in governemnt higher secondary School Vijaypur. Various teachers drawn from different schools from Zone Vijaypur were imparted training for filling up formats of DISE, which is a necessary component of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, as the information provided by the schools in the forms helps the Education department at Centre to formulate policies for upgradation of educational facilities. Zonal Education Officer, Vijaypur, Bishan Lal , Principal, Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Dev Anand , Vikram Singh and Iqbal Singh addressed the teachers and imparted training.
Other prominent personalities present included Jai Paul Singh, ZEPO , Rajiv Kumar, DEO. |
