JAMMU, Nov 1: In order to carry out the branch cutting and general maintenance of the 33 KV G-4 Gladni-Residency line in view of annual darbar move, the power supply to parts of Gujjarnagar, Khatikan Talab, Shahidi Chowk, part of Raghunath Bazar, Gurudwara Sunder Singh Road, Dakbungalow, Hans Raj Park, part of Kanak Mandi, Lakhdata Bazar, Rajender Bazar, PHE Gujjar Nagar and adjoining areas shall remain affected on November 3 from 7.30 a m to 11 a m. According to Superintending Engineer Electric Maintenance & RE Circle-I, Jammu, the shutdown shall be subject to fair weather condition. Meanwhile, as the 33 KV transmission line G-7 from Transport Nagar to Railway Station, receiving station, passing through Transport Nagar, Channi Rama, NABARD Complex, Trikuta Nagar extension area, is being charged on November 4.
The people are hereby advised to avoid passing near the said line to avoid any mishap. |
