| Punjab lawyer booked in dowry case | | | Jammu: A lawyer from Punjab has been booked in a dowry case at the women police cell here.
The case was registered against him after his wife Urminder Kour of Mohalla Paharian lodged a written complaint against him. In her complaint, she alleged that her husband Harminder Singh had been harassing her for dowry for the past two years.
She said he had started torturing her mentally after she gave birth to twin daughters few months back. Police sources said cops were likely to be sent to Punjab to bring the advocate to Jammu. |
