Dharmarth Trust ridicules pressure on removal of Security from Raghunath Mandir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu. Nov 2: Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust has described the statement of the newly elected president of Shri Raghunath Mandir Welfare Committee Anil Gupta as unwarranted fiddling in the smooth affairs of Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust and pressure building tactics on Government, security forces. In a press statement issued here today president of the Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust Thakur Divakar Singh said that the press conference of RMWC president is nothing but a futile mud slinging effort on the functioning of pious and religious temple of Jammu city whose security is imperative on all costs. He said people of Jammu have already witnessed two terror attacks on the temple and the decision to keep this revered place under the security umbrella was taken by the Union Government and it was the prerogative of the Centre to take such decisions. In this connection, Thakur Divakar Singh asked the president of RMWC , Anil Gupta to recall that about two years back a so called Raghunath Suman Sangathan of Raghunathpora and Others had filed a case against Dharmartrh Trust in the Hon’ble Court of Chief JudicialMagistrate for opening the rear gate leading to Raghunathpura of Shri Raghunathji temple. The learned Judge opined that security of the ancient historical temple should not be compromised and dismissed the case. He said the Temple in question was built by philanthropic and soldier Maharaja Gulab Singhji and its managerial affairs are run under the able guidance of the world renowned Vedanta scholar Maharaja Dr. Karan Singh who is admittedly unblemished personality. Regarding the other points raised by the Welfare Association, it has been observed that the same were raised under the influence of some mis-guided persons who were dismissed by the Trust for misappropriation.
