| Kidzee celebrates Diwali | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Nov 2: IPS Kidzee kathua celebrated festival of lights Diwali with pomp and show.
Programme commenced with speech delivered by Principal Suman Tiwari followed by lectures by Vidhushi and Lakshmi. After the assembly, kids offered prayers to goddess Lakshmi and lord Ganesha. Teachers displayed splendid show of Rangoli. As part of Diwali function, kids with the help of teachers made beautiful diyas. Further, they lit up school premises. Thereafter a truly spontaneous and widespread cracker show was organized.
Function culminated with light refreshment followed by distribution of sweets. As Kidzee always believes in teaching the kids practically and as per kid’s requirements and play way methodology, celebrating various culture functions at campus is a way of imparting knowledge to them with regards to our rich Indian culture, traditions and festivals without the help of books.
