PSU employees anguished over FMs statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 2: All Public Sector Employees Joint Action Committee (APSEJAC) has expressed shock and anguish over the recent statement of the Finance Minister that there is no decision regarding payment of arrears to the PSU employees. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that APSEJAC was held under the chairmanship of Suresh Sharma to discuss critical and biased approach of state government towards workers and employees of the PSUs. Sharma, who is also Provincial President of trade union wing of PDP rejected road map announced by government regarding payment of arrears to employees and pensioners and urged government to come up to commitments made with different employee bodies. He demanded that all the PSU employees should be given benefit of 6th pay commission report already announced by the government and make payments to the employees with regard to already released COLA and DA installments and ensure release of arrears on the same pattern as would be announced in favour of government employees after review. He appealed employees to remain united and ready for any agitation to be announced in consultation of all PSU bodies in case government does not consider demands of the PSU employees and review the road map already announced by the government for employees and pensioners. Prominent trade union leaders who addressed the meeting included Anchal Bakshi, Manjit Singh, C.K.Sudan, Pawan Kumar, Sandip Sharma, M.S.Doodwal and Rajesh Sharma.
