EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 2: As many as 31 civilians crossed border in a weekly Poonch-Rawlakote bus service via Chakkan Da Bagh on Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“19 civilians crossed over to Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) which included 15 residents of PoK, who returned back and four fresh visitors from Rajouri and Poonch districts of this side in a weekly bus service yesterday when the gates were opened at Chakkan-da-Bagh,'' said the official sources.
Meanwhile, 12 people including three Indian residents and nine from across the border reached Poonch via Chakkan-da-Bagh, they added. Sources, however, said cross-LoC trade from same route is being suspended this week due to Diwali festival.
