| Nationalists not to allow weakening of bonds: BJP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 2: Patriotic people have made tremendous sacrifices to frustrate evil designs of hostile elements and nationalists would not allow weakening of these bonds but for follies and lack of vision of the Congress leadership and its fellow travelers.
These observations were made by leader of BJP Legislators Party Chaman Lal Gupta after honoring veteran Dewan Chand Dogra who had taken active part in various agitations. He recalled circumstances under which late Pt. Prem Nath Dogra had launched struggle for defeating this state against menace of secessionism and many others had to make supreme sacrifices for unity and integrity of country.
Deploring statements of leaders of Congress and their likes, Gupta said that as far as the law of the land as also the constitution are concerned, Jammu and Kashmir is not only an irrevocable part of the country but its future is not negotiable. But the fact remains that the unholy alliance of the Congress-NC has failed to deliver and full fill their legal and constitutional obligations, and to cover up their failures they are terming the situation in Kashmir as a political problem, added Gupta.
He questioned that if any other invader would dare to encroach upon constitutional boundaries of the country, they would also be taken as stake holder by terming it as a political challenge. Those who accompanied Gupta to the place of ailing Dewan Chand included senior BJP leader Chander Mohan Sharma.
