| Betab conferred MD Bandey annual award | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Nov 2: The M.D.Bandey Memorial Society, Poonch has nominated Hassam-u-din Betab, a renowned Urdu poet and literary personality of District- Poonch for 5th MD Bandey Annual Award.
The award has been conferred upon Betab Sahib for his exemplary work in the field of literature and Urdu poetry.
The award was given at Thanna Mandi yesterday on the annual day function of M.E.T Thanna Mandi Distt-Rajorui.
Dr. Zahoor-ud-din, former head department of Urdu, University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion who gave the award. Addittional Distt. Dev. Commissioner, Rajouri presided over the function.
