Early Times Report Jammu , Nov 2: A general body meeting of the all Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation was held today under the chairmanship of its President Amrik Singh Sasan,. The meeting was attended by the employees and workers of different state owned Public Sector Undertaking viz. JKPCC. J&K SICOP, J&K SIDCO, J&K SFC, J&K HPMC, J&K Minerals, J&K Handloom, J&K Cement , J&K Agro Industries, J&K SRTC, J&K Industries Ltd, J&K TDC, J&K SC, ST & BC etc. Speaking on the occasion, the speakers rejected the road map prepared for releasing of 6th Pay Commission arrears in one voice and on the other hand they also flayed the statement of the Finance Minister . Various spokesman condemned the attitude of Finance Minister and urged upon the Chief Minister of J&K State Omar Abdullah to clarify the intention of the state government as the state cabinet had approved implementation of 6th Pay Commission w.e.f 01-07-2006 without any term and condition and at this state why the Finance Minister is deliberately harassing the employees of Public Sector Undertaking. Meanwhile, it was again resolved unanimously to urge upon the Chief Minister to intervene into the matter and redress the committed genuine demands which include enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, payment of arrears of 6th pay commission , regularization of daily rated, consolidated, Adhoc Contractual workers IV. Pensionary benefits for PSU's. Other demands include benefits of 6th Pay Commission to the remaining PSU's such as Handloom, SRTC, JKI, Minerals, Agro, HPMC and waiver of conditions from the orders of conversion of COLA into DA The meeting was also attended and addressed by the senior trade Union leaders which included. Kuldeep Sharma, Onkar Sharma, Joginder Paul, Som Raj, Ashok Sharma, M.S Gupta, Surjit Singh, Ashok Dutta, Mohd Iqbal, Baldev Raj, Nar Singh, Darshan Singh, Rajesh Khajuria, Anil Sharma, Ashok Anand, Parshotam, Karn Singh, C.L. Raina, Majaor Singh, Kamal Jeet Singh, Ramesh Bhat, Abudal Manan Bhat, Ashok Sharma, Dalbir Singh, Jaswant Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Raj Kumar, R abhu Ram, Sham Lal and many others.
