| 20 hurt in road mishap, 6 serious | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Nov 2: At least 20 people were today wounded, six of them seriously, after the minibus in which they were travelling met with an accident neargovernment degree college at Thanamandi near here.
The ill-fated minibus (JK11/2362) was on its way from ShahadraSharief to Thanamandi.
Police sources said the speeding minibus skidded off the road and, after an 80 ft fall, landed on a field, as a result of which 20people were wounded, six of them critically.
The seriously injured were identified as Yaseem Kousar (18),daughter of Gulam Rasool, Ishfaq Hussain (7), son of MaqboolHussain, Irfan Hussain (6), son of Kamal Din, Shafkat Ali (5), sonof Mohammad Din, Zahid Hussain (10), son of Abdul Qayoom, and Gulnaza Hussain (60).
The injured were admitted to Thanamandi hospital from where they were later referred to the Rajouri district hospital. The conditionof six of them, including four minors, was stated to be critical.Police had registered a case in this connection.
