RSS holds centre responsible for maligning Sangh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 3: It is only to put cover on its misdeeds and failure to run effective governance that the Government at Centre is trying to create controversy by implicating RSS in non-issues. This was stated by Rashtriya Swayamsevak chief Brigadier Suchet Singh while addressing a press conference Wednesday. He was speaking in context of recent issues raked by the centre while charging RSS top leaders’ participation in anti-national activities and said, “Since RSS is a world recognized forum that advocates for a stronger and united India, government’s own follies in sending the nation to destruction has made it apprehensive of its misdeeds that it is trying to divert the public opinion”. RSS chief said that entire RSS paraphernalia is open for any debate and support to any investigating agency provided the exercise conducted should be fair and transparent. “This is nothing but a political gimmick to malign Hindu society. RSS Sarkaryawah Suresh Joshi has announced full cooperation to the investigation agencies and called upon them to conduct a thorough and honest investigations against individuals who were alleged to be involved, so that the actual culprits are brought to book and also the motive of those who are out to defame the Hindu society is brought to the notice of the public”. He however expressed some skepticism also about investigating agencies being under the political clout and hence denied to have faith in its working as they too are politically motivated. He said some political leaders and investigating agencies on behest of central government and conspirators are making derogatory remarks against RSS and trying to implicate the senior leaders in false and fraudulent cases. However to protest against the ‘intentional tirade’ against RSS, the state chief announced protest dharnas on all district headquarters on Nov 10.
