| Ayurvedic Congress pays tributes Dhanwantri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 3: Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of All India Ayurvedic Congress has paid rich tributes to Bhagwan Dhanwantri progenitor of Ayurvedic in a function organized to celebrate Dhanwantri Jayanti.
The function was presided by Minister for Medical and Technical Education, Youth Service and Sports R S Chib while T R Gupta state president of the All J&K Ayurvedic Congress was also present on the occasion.
The programme started with Dhanwantri Vandana by the students of Kendrita Sanskrit Sansthan.
While paying tributes the Bhagwan Dhanwantri, R S Chib stressed for professional dedication and impressed upon Ayurvedic professionals to work hard so that there is wider social acceptance of Ayurvedic. He assured that state govt is undertaking all necessary steps for upliftment of Indian system of Medicine in the state.
T R Gupta expressed hope that Ayurved will further flourish in the state.
H N Patwari presented detailed analysis about the life and contribution of Dhanwantri to eradicate mental and physical trauma of ailing people.
Shiv Dutt Sharma spoke about the responsibilities of Ayurvedic professional.
