| Lecturers Forum welcomes elevation of cadre members | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 3: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum has welcomed the elevation of cadre members on the post of principals, Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and joint directors in the Education Department.
The central executive of the forum which met at Jammu under the leadership of H D Quershi, state president of the forum has appreciated the effort of Minister for Education Peerzada Mohd Sayeed for timely filling up of vacancies of Principals, CEOs, Joint Directors and field advisors which will certainly improve the functioning of the department.
He mentioned that with the elevation of 48 lecturers to the rank of principals the institutions will be further strengthened at all round the state particularly in rural areas.
He appealed the authorities to fill up the vacancies of lecturers lying vacant on priority to enable the institutions to run smoothly on academic front.
Besides, he appealed concerning authority to implement their demands of regularization of incharge incumbents, benefit of running pattern, placement of cadre in pay band 3 and re-organization of department.
Queershi informed that on November 7, forum has summoned general house meeting of all cadre in Jammu.
Among others who were present in the meeting included Charan Dass, Manmeet Bali, vice presidents, N S Jamwal general secretary, Ashwani Sharma chief organizer, B D Sharma, district president Jammu and others.
