| JD institute puts up creative display | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 3: The students of JD institute of fashion technology, Jammu centre, have put up an outstanding display of talent and creativity today.
Utsav an exhibition of designer Diwali products was put up at the institute premises.
The exhibition named Utsav 2010 was a celebration of Indian culture which is so diverse and yet so vibrant and colourful.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shahida Parveen Ganguly, the most decorated officer of the J&K police and also the proud recipient of ITA-woman achiever of the year 2009 award, honitus award for bravery 2010 award among many other awards and commendations.
Shahida Parveen highly appreciated the students efforts and congratulated them and staff members for coming up with such innovative ideas.
The products on display included, designer candles, diyas, bags, wall hangings, jewelry and a variety of other designer diwali products. All the products were made by the students themselves under the guidance of the JD trainers.
The exhibition is on for two days 3rd and 4 th nov 2010
Maansi Gupta, centre director Jd Jammu, said that the exhibition was a result of exemplary efforts put in by the staff and students of jd institute. She further added that such events act as points of rejuvenation for the students and makes them independent in their respective fields.
