BAJ calls for Jammu Bandh on Nov 8 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 03 (JNF):- Bar Association Jammu has called for strike on November 8 in protest against Chief Minister’s statement on accession and also against discrimination against Jammu region. The Darbar Move offices are scheduled to open in Jammu on November 8. Today in emergency meeting of Bar Association Jammu held under the chairmanship of its President Advocate Sunil Sethi. The members of the BAJ unanimously decided to give separate call for Jammu Bandh on November 8, 2010 against the discrimination with Jammu region and also against the Statement of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah regarding accession of J&K with India. BAJ appealed to political, social, traders, transporters and other organizations to support the Jammu Bandh call given by Bar Association Jammu and observe complete Bandh on November 8, 2010. While taking to JNF General Secretary BAJ Advocate Rajesh Thappa said that Govt at the center and in the state continuous to discriminate with the people of Jammu. He further said that Govt should immediate arrest the Arundati Rao and Syed Ali Shah Geelani for their antinational statement. JNF
