| Two held for stabbing shopkeeper with scissors | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 03: Two inebriated youth were Tuesday night arrested by police for allegedly stabbing a shopkeeper in the main Bari Brahmana market with scissors.
Police sources said Ghar Chand and Buta Ram, who were drunk, came to the kiryana shop of Brij Mohan in the main Bari Brahmana market last night and bought a cigarette packet.
When Brij, who hails from ward No 2, Bari Brahmana, demanded money, they started beating him and then allegedly stabbed him in the stomach with scissors.The accused were overpowered by other shopkeepers and handed over to police. Brij was admitted to the GMC hospital and his condition was stated to be out of danger.Police had registered a case against the accused.
