Arrangements for KAS Prelims finalized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, NOVEMBER 03- Secretary Public Service Commission, M.A. Bukhari today said that all arrangements have been made for smooth and hassle free conduct of J&K Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination, 2010 on November 14th, 2010. Briefing the media persons here today, Bukhari said that about 30,000 candidates are appearing in this prestigious examination at 60 centres at Jammu and Srinagar including 39 centres in Jammu and 21 in Srinagar. He said that all the agencies especially educational institutions are in close coordination with the commission with fullest cooperation to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination which is the preliminary phase for making 189 selections for KAS Junior Scale, KPS and Account Services. The Secretary informed that the admit cards have been dispatched to the candidates and are also available on the website of the Commission JKPSC.org, JKPSC.nik.in, besides two control rooms are being set up at Srinagar and Jammu for speedy disposal of the grievances of the candidates. He said that the Commission is making all endeavors to facilitate the candidates appearing in this examination and ensuring timely completion of enter selection process. The Secretary enumerated the steps taken by the Commission to improve its working and make it more candidates friendly.
