| Front celebrates Diwali with orphans | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 6: Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Kandi Area Development Front (JJJKKADF) today celebrated Diwali with orphans and inmates of home for old age and infirm at Amphalla here.
Office bearers of committee led by state president Anil Sharma distributed sweets and fruits among inmates of home for old age and infirm and shared their grievances. Later, they also visited Ved Mandir complex and interacted with orphan children. Sweets and fruits were also distributed among them by the committee members.
Anil Sharma while greeting people on Diwali said that festival of lights depicts victory over evil and spreads message of brotherhood, secularism and amity. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Ram Parkash Sharma, Nand Kishore, Datta Ram, Subash Sharma, Hardev Kumar, Balbir Singh and Vishal Malhotra.
