| Snow leopard's skin seized, one held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar Nov 06: The skin of endangered 'snow leopard' was today recovered by police from the possession of a man at Palmar in Kishtwar.Police sources said a tip-off led a Kishtwar police team to the recovery of the skin of a snow leopard, found very rare nowadays, from a man at Palmar.The skin was seized and the man arrested. Sources identified the accused as Mohammad Afzal Sheikh, son of Abdul Ahad Sheikh of Palmar. Police had registered a case in this connection. Some more arrests were likely to be made, the sources added.
